On August 14th, join CDV for the Fall 2019 Community Education Presentation: Investigation and Response to Domestic and Sexual Violence led by Lt. Mark Wynn (ret). Wynn looks at violence in the family through his ten-years as a survivor of domestic violence and twenty-years of public service. He discusses the challenges of dealing with the most committed and often least reported crimes in the United States and the importance of leadership.
He challenges law enforcement and community leaders to hold ourselves agencies, and organizations accountable for effectively responding to and investigating violence against women.
For over 30 years, Mark Wynn has been a national trainer to police executives, patrol officers, training officers, prosecutors, judges, legislators, social service providers, healthcare professionals and victim advocates. Wynn is a Fulbright Specialist for the Department of State and is a survivor himself. He is devoted to ending domestic/sexual, elder and child abuse.
The registration fee is $89; $40 for students (both include continental breakfast and lunch). Discounts on the cost of registration are offered for groups of three or more from any one organization.
